General Manager

Trillium Construction is now hiring in Danbury, CT!

Our client is the number one serviced-based systems integrator in the world specializing in electronic security, fire alarm and life safety, building automation, financial security, and more! They are now looking to hire a general manager for their office in Danbury, CT. This is a direct hire opportunity and the salary is up to $190k plus a bonus structure. The position also includes benefits like M/V/D, PTO, 401k, Holiday Pay, and more. The ideal candidate will have specific experience working closely with banking/financial services.

Duties:
-Responsible for setting strategic direction of assigned market, developing and growing the business, and maintaining existing business and customer base
-oversee and approve all colleague (in cooperation with HR) issues including offer letters, changes in policy, terminations, disciplinary issues, etc.
-create, gain approval for and ultimately ensure the business achieves the annual business plan by way of sales, revenue and profitability goals.
-develop and gain agreement/sign off for all related business/department budgets.
-Direct local recruiting, selection, and hiring activities of operations personnel in accordance with standard practices and working in conjunction with the HR Department and National Operations.
-Ensure that all business operations – sales, service delivery, project management, risk management, human resources are conducted in compliance with established best practices, processes, and policies.

Qualifications:
-8 years in Financial Management, Sales Management, Operations/Project Management
-Business/Market knowledge pertaining to one or all of Electronic Security, Fire Alarm & Life Safety, Healthcare Technologies, Communications and Building Automation
-10+ years Business/People Management
-Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
-Ensure that all business operations – sales, service delivery, project management, risk management, human resources are conducted in compliance with established best practices, processes, and policies.
