CP Tester

Trillium Construction is now seeking a CP Tester in Weidman!

Responsibilities:
-Conduct testing including, but not limited to, structure-to-soil potential, soil resistance and current requirement
-Conduct rectifier maintenance inspections including necessary troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs
-Correctly and safely operate test equipment including pipe and/or cable locaters, high input impedance digital multi-meters, clamp-on ammeters, electrical isolation inspection meters, and various hand and power tools
-Maintain assigned truck, tools, and equipment
-Prepare and deliver written and electronic administrative reports
-Coordinate administrative and technical meetings and tasks between the company and the client

Pay is $30- $46 an hour based on experience and certifications (CP1 $30-$36/HR) (CP2 $37-$46/HR DOE) $145 a day per diem all 7 with company truck/ fuel card provided. Company laptop, tools, and equipment will all be provided.

Minimum Qualifications:
-AMPP (NACE) CP1 with 2 years field related pipeline corrosion experience
-Must be able to read and comprehend maps and GPS systems
-Knowledgeable in field data acquisition / troubleshooting
-Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record for insurability

Preferred Qualifications:
-CP2 certification 5+ years experience 

Requires significant travel throughout the whole US, Usually 3-4 weeks at a time.
