Quality Control Manager

Trillium Construction is now hiring in Riverside, CA!

Our client is a solar contractor specializing in commercial rooftop solar. They are currently overseeing the installation on a large distribution center and are looking to bring on a Quality Control Manager on a temporary basis. This project starts in mid April and should run 4-5 months at 40+ hours a week. Pay rate is between $35 and $45 an hour depending on experience and Trillium offers benefits like M/V/D, 401k, PSL, and Holiday Pay!

Duties:
-Oversee all aspects of quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure the successful completion of solar project 
-Implementation of the three-phase control system for all definable features of work. The definable features of work are listed at the end of this section of the design specifications. 
-Submit weekly QC report detailing all QC activities to accompany the weekly status report. This weekly QC report shall include details of all QC inspections and resolution, or proposed resolution, of any issues found that do not comply with QC requirements. This report shall be in addition to the weekly status report. Updated QC reports shall be submitted to the Client on a weekly basis by Monday, noon (noon at the project site.)  
-The QCM will routinely and continually inspect the work for compliance with the contract documents. Duties of the QCM, as outlined above, are for the purpose of maintaining and documenting the work as required to achieve a high degree of quality.  
-A punch list will be developed to identify all items which are not in compliance with the specifications and drawings. Establish a date by which each deficiency will be corrected and note such date on the punch list.

Qualifications: 
-OSHA 10 and formal training in Quality Control 
-1-3 years experience in q quality assurance / control role in construction or renewables 
-Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques, with an understanding of solar PV systems 
-Must possess analytical skills, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings 
-Detail oriented and organized
