Welder

Trillium Construction is seeking Structural Welders for a fabrication shop in Huntsville, Alabama.

Work is expected to start ASAP lasting 1 – 2 months (Potentially longer but not guaranteed). Pay rates for the welders/fabricators that meet the qualifications is $22.50+ depending on experience and skillset. No per diem. Work schedule is Monday - Friday, working 8-10 hours a day. Expected weekly hours is 40 hours a week minimum, potentially more if needed but not guaranteed.

-The ability to prepare structural metal products for welding and riveting, lay out parts, line up edges and fit parts together are required to apply.
-Must have at least 1 year of experience and be able to safely perform tasks given.
-Candidates will need to be proficient in the Flux Core Welding process. Welding Process: FCAW-Flux- Core welding, Filler Metal: 0.045 E71T-12C/M-H8, Material: Carbon Steel, Plate thickness: 1” note: backing strip will be used with run-off tabs, Weld test positions: V Groove 3G (uphill) test, NDT/testing type: visual of root and final cap and 2 side bends.
