Now hiring Commercial Lines Customer Service Representatives for direct hire!

Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative position available in the Lansing, MI area working at our client location who is a full-service insurance agency.

Direct hire opportunity. Hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Salary of $48k and must possess an active property & casualty license and commercial lines experience to be considered. Seeking someone who is self-motivated, enjoys helping people and like to solve problems.

Our client is a fast paced, customer-oriented firm. The Customer Service Representative will perform duties pertaining to insurance for personal lines business, including, but not limited to, marketing, quotes, and proposals. Candidate will respond to customer inquiries and collaborate within team to support and offer solutions to customer. Candidate will process and enter data into proprietary software system (Applied EPIC) for new business, renewals, reinstatements, endorsements, cancellations, billings and payments. Attention to detail is required to ensure the accuracy of data to be input. Candidate is responsible for checking for valid codes, accuracy of entries, and correcting entries that may be inconsistent with history file information.

*Must have an active property and casualty license.
*Successful candidate will have experience in proactive problem-solving, possess critical thinking skills and excellent computer skills.
*This position requires the ability to juggle tasks and respond timely to requests for individualized insurance protection that meet our client needs.
*Responsible for reviewing policy forms to confirm that insured has necessary coverages for their operation or advise insured if they can benefit from obtaining additional lines of coverage.
