Powder Coater

Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Powder Coater for temp-to-hire opportunities!

Schedule is 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 7-3:30p. Pay rate is $19-$23/hr depending on experience. This position requires the painter to inspect and hang customer parts for painting, operate a spray gun to evenly coat the parts with dry paint powder in an enclosed booth, and move the coated parts to a high temperature oven to bake the powder onto the parts to achieve a desired finished appearance. Jobs require initial inspections to ensure the parts are properly prepared for powder coating.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
•Follow a production schedule.
•Prepare and process customer parts following specified powder coating processes.
•Evaluate the part(s) during processing for achievement of the desired finish.
•Notify supervisor of wear and tear on equipment, and any equipment or other job needs as they arise.
•Use simple electrical and mechanical measuring devices. •Maintains powder coating areas in operating conditions
•Performs other related duties as required.

-High school diploma or GED. Technical schooling background preferred.
-Ability to read and understand English documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
-Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
-Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
