Dump Truck Operator

Trillium Construction is now hiring a Dump Truck Operator for a longer-term position in LaBelle, FL!

This job has about 4-6 months left, and the contractor is excavating rock, producing rip rap, and removing the larger leftover rock off-site.  The job is for new construction at a reservoir project by the South Florida Water Management District.  Candidates will be tasked with operating a 40-ton off-road dump truck daily.  Will be getting the dump filled by excavators on-site, then dumping the rock about 1,000 feet or so away.  The truck is an automatic.  Will also be required to help fuel, grease, and inspect the truck, and also help with any miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Production Manager.

No per diem is offered for this position.  Must be reliable and dependable.  Company would like to meet and make sure the operator can handle/operate the dump prior to starting.  Will be working Mon-Fri 9–10-hour days.  Will work some Saturdays if they need to make up due to rain, etc.  Pay is right around $22/hour DOE.

- Must have or be able to go through OSHA 10 training
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens
