Structural Engineer

Trillium Construction is now seeking a Structural Engineer for a direct-hire placement!

Our client is a well-established global steel fabricator and distributor. Providing Product Development, Engineering, preprocessing and manufacturing.

They are one of the largest North American producers of steel plate and coil, serving many industrial markets including energy, construction, agriculture and transportation.

Annual salary is $85- $110K base. Relocation assistant is provided to those who qualify. Benefits include M/V/D, 401K, PTO, holiday pay, profit sharing and bonus structure.

Duties:
-Develop, design, and analyze structures in support of various plant facility and machine improvements
-Fully analyze, inspect and evaluate facility and system structural performance to troubleshoot failures and to design solutions.
-Conduct detailed FEA modeling as needed of various building components to optimize design and improve performance.
-Perform feasibility studies and analysis, conceptual planning, and designs that aid management in making decisions.
-Perform hands on annual plantwide facility structural inspections and manage any remediation and repair work.

Qualifications:
-Bachelors of Science in Structural Engineering with major emphasis in structural analysis, structural engineering and design.
-Certified Structural Engineer (PE, SE) is a plus but not required
-5 to 10 years’ experience with structural design and structural analysis
-Project experience should include: Industrial/manufacturing facility, plant facility, infrastructure.
-Experience with 3D solid modeling software (SolidWorks, Inventor), and AutoCAD.
-Company utilizes: RISA, Tekla Structures, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MaxView, Maintenance Connection, DayForce HCM, and other programs which you will be trained on, as required.
