Construction Operations Manager

Trillium Construction is now seeking a Construction Operations Manager for direct-hire!

Our client is a self-performing Industrial mechanical and electrical contractor providing new construction and maintenance nationwide. 
Industries serviced: Power Gen, Renewable Energy, Mining, Pharma, AG, Food & Bev, healthcare, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Date Centers.

Annual salary is $150K-$170K base and this is a remote position (Western US preferred). Benefits include M/V/D, 401K, up to 15% annual bonus. Travel expenses covered when traveling 30-40% of the time regionally.

Duties:
-Responsible for electrical planning, scheduling, assisting in change orders/estimating, employee oversite, and management of industrial construction projects at multiple jobsites up to $10M in value. 
-Responsible for recruiting, managing and leading teams of employees, including PM’s, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, Superintendent and Foreman. 
-Supervises daily work of employees. 
-Verifies conformance of finished work product, including overseeing compliance with all contract requirements. 
-Responsible for ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met. 
-Coordination of all labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with Project subordinates.

Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience in the Industrial construction sector, with a minimum of 5 years as a Sr. Project Manager, VP of operations. 
-Electrical Industry background should include, but not limited to: Power Gen, Renewable Energy, Mining, Pharma, AG, Food & Bev, healthcare, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Date Centers. 
-MUST have experience with self-performing work!
-Mechanical experience (civil work, equipment installs, concrete, structural steel, process piping, plant expansions) 
-Experience managing projects with multiple PM’s and at least 250 craft employees. 
-HeavyBid or comparable estimating software is a plus  
-Timberline-Sage, OST, Procore or Bluebeam is also a plus 
-MUST pass pre-employment screening (background, Drug and need a clean driving record.)
