Safety Coordinator

Trillium Construction is now hiring in Manhattan, NY!

Our client is one of the nations largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions. They are now looking to bring on a Safety Coordinator to join their Long Island/Manhattan office. This is a direct hire opportunity with benefits like M/V/D, 401k with a company match after one year, PTO, Holiday Pay, etc. The salary ranges from $75K - $85K depending on experience.

Duties include:
· Eliminate or control at-risk behaviors or conditions resulting from human error, equipment and machine operations which may lead to human injury and/or property damage.
· Investigate incidents involving injury or property damage.
· Coordinate site safety inspections for compliance against OSHA regulations and company policies and procedures.
· Train and educate employees and supervisors on OSHA requirements and company policies and procedures

Qualifications:
· Must be bilingual in English/Spanish
· OSHA 30 AND 500
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Electrical construction
· Preferred candidates will have knowledge of fleet services and equipment management
· Proficient in Word and Excel
