Structured Cabling Technician

Trillium Construction is now hiring in San Diego for a long-term project!

Our client specializes in Federal projects across San Diego County. We are looking to bring on structured cabling technicians for a prevailing wage project ($49/hr). This is a 4/10 schedule with shift hours ranging from 5am-3pm or 12pm-10pm.

Duties Include:
-Install, terminate, and test low voltage cables and fiber optic cables
-Install, terminate, test, label, and document horizontal, backbone and other cables
-Dress and route cable into MDF, IDF, and work outlets
-Build out data and equipment rooms
-Test, troubleshoot, and document test results for cabling
-Fire-stop various types of cable penetration

-Must be able to work variable hours
-Must be able to lift 60 pounds
-Minimum of two years experience
