Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Manufacturing Manager in Pigeon, MI! Annual salary $40k-70k based on experience.

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for the following duties:

-Review processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
-Develop or implement production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports, to detect production problems.
-Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
-Hire, train and evaluate staff.
-Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
-Set and monitor product standards, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality, quantity, etc.
-Develop budgets or approve expenditures for supplies, materials, or human resources, ensuring that materials, labor, or equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.
-Initiate or coordinate inventory and cost control programs.
-Coordinate or recommend procedures for facility or equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines.
-Review plans and confer with research or support staff to develop new products or processes.
-Institute employee suggestion or involvement programs.
-Maintain current knowledge of the quality control field, relying on current information pertaining to materials use, technological advances, or statistical studies.
-Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance, quality and shipping and receiving.
-Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
-Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
-Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs.
-Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness for plant personnel.
-Provides direction, development and leadership to floor personnel.

-Bachelor’s degree or five years plant/management experience in a manufacturing setting. CNC. machining, and welding experience.
-Project management experience.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Software Suite and familiarity with Shoptech software.
-Excellent team building, motivation and leadership skills.
-Production and Processing-Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
-Understanding of Preventative Maintenance program, ISO standards, Quality Control, Employee Health and Safety.
-Excellent customer service skills
