Now hiring a Traveling Safety Manager for direct-hire!Trillium Construction is now seeking a Traveling Safety Manager for direct-hire placement out of Chicago!

Our client is a well established GC and design build firm specializing in all facets of construction and industries with offices across the country.  Always in the ENR Top 100.

They are now hiring a Traveling Safety Manger for work in the Chicago, IL area. This will be a direct hire opportunity with full benefits, M/V/D, 401K, profit sharing, 3- weeks PTO and performance based bonuses. RELOCATION ASSISTANCE provided to those who qualify. Base salary: $85K-$100K (based on overall project experience).

While traveling: ALL expenses are covered or reimbursed (lodging, flights, food, Ubers/rentals, etc. M-F… 40 hrs a week Will be traveling Tues-Thurs every week,  Will be home every Friday and the weekends.

Duties:
-Conduct regular safety inspections of assigned projects and publish reports for internal improvement and compliance
-Educate and train associates on health and safety related issues
Support field personnel by applying problem solving to changing conditions
-Conduct formal investigations in work related incidents to determine cause and corrective actions
-Maintain a current knowledge base of Local, State, and Federal safety and health regulations

-Experience working with a GC on new ground up builds is highly preferred, but not required.
-ASP/CSP certification(s) preferred, but not required
-OSHA 30 is a MUST
