Temporary Employee Wages Upwards of $100/hr!

Want a glimpse into the life of a current staffing employee? The 2014 Staffing Employee Survey conducted by the American Staffing Association, revealed insight into temporary employees’ satisfaction and compensation levels.

The survey revealed that the average temporary employee was making more than $17 per hour, many making more than $100 per hour. The increase in wages has a direct correlation to the swing in occupations that are being filled by staffing agencies today. More than a third of all staffing employees are working in higher skilled occupations, helping to drive their increase in wages. In addition to wages, the survey reported that 9 out of 10 employees reported being satisfied with their staffing company.

Meet the Trillium Team: Ashley Preston

Ashley Preston joined the team at Trillium Construction Services in 2014. In her current role as Recruiter for the Wisconsin region, Ashley provides Trillium clients with the best talent in commercial construction and skilled trades while supporting several offices in her region.

In addition to her expertise in recruiting, Ashley is the lead singer in Milwaukee based Blue Light Scene which performs at the Wisconsin State Fair and Summerfest. When she isn’t singing and keeping job sites staffed, Ashley is busy planning her 2015 wedding and taking crazy amounts of pictures of her English Bulldog Winston.

“I started here a year ago and I love it! It is a great company to work for and I love the feeling of helping people find not only jobs, but careers. Meet The Team: Chrystel Parsell

Chrystel Parsell, Staffing Coordinator, began her career with Trillium over 7 years ago. Chrystel’s flexibility and passion for the industry has allowed her to work in several capacities within Trillium, giving her a well rounded vision of the organization and its goals. Currently Chrystel is heavily involved in the sourcing, evaluation, and representation of talent for our East Michigan Skilled Staffing group which includes administrative, light industrial, and on-site staffing services.

“I have worked for another staffing organization both as an internal employee and as a contract employee. Steve Rosenberger, Regional Vice President of Trillium Environmental, began his career with Trillium over 12 years ago. Steve leads our environmental and industrial staffing groups in providing contractors nationwide with support staff for project based shutdowns and turnarounds including: hydroblasters, general laborers, HAZWOPER trained technicians, and tank cleaners. In addition, Steve manages traditional staffing offices in New Orleans, LA and Morton, IL.

“I began my career more than 12 years ago with Trillium. A few short years after I started, I realized I had a real passion and commitment for this industry.
