Job Description

Trillium Staffing now has Quality Inspector positions available in the Wixom, MI area.

Pay rate is $17.00 an hour. Project positions expected to last three months or longer. All shifts available. Inspectors inspect product in accordance with project requirements, complete applicable project documentation, and ensure customer satisfaction through timely and accurate communication with management.

Shift times:
1st shift-6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
2nd shift-2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
3rd shift-10:00 p. m. to 6:00 a.m.
OT available. Saturdays required at this time. Must be available for required OT when needed.

Job duties:
-Ability to read and comprehend and follow written work instructions and related documents
-Ability to follow directions, pay attention to detail and focus on work related tasks
-Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) in the English language
-Ability to interpret quality control plans, procedures, prints, etc. 
-Inspect parts balancing quality and productivity to meet (or exceed) customer expectations
-Accurately and thoroughly collect and record project data
-Capability to use gages and basic metrology tools
-Capability of performing detail-oriented and repetitive work
-Able to multi-task
-Comply with all safety instructions and personal protective equipment requirements
-Follow all client policies and procedures
-Comply with uniform standards and maintain a professional appearance
-Comply with performance and conduct standards
-Ability to work with minimum supervision
-Capability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Capability to complete training requirements in a timely manner
-Ensure project areas are 5s compliant
-Travel to project locations, as needed if hired in directly by client company
-Ability to work overtime with minimal notice
-All other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

-High school diploma or equivalent (required)
-Read, comprehend, and apply written work instruction (required)
-Valid driver’s license (preferred)
-Able to use powered and non-powered hand tools (preferred)
-Ability to use basic gages (calipers, micrometers, scales) (preferred)
-Prior manufacturing or inspection experience (preferred)
-One year experience in manufacturing and/or quality (preferred)
