Job Description

Trillium Construction is now seeking a Product Engineering Coordinator for work in Auburn Hills, MI!

Job duties:
• Manage CQI and GIMS cross functional task force teams, create priorities, action plans and track progress, align and update initiatives list
• First responder to Component Quality Analysis Team New Emerging Issue alerts.
o Interacting with DSE, MFG and DRE to develop the next steps plan, document the plan to the team
o Coordinate any next steps and track progress working side by side with DSE/DRE setting up plans or tests needed
• Manage BRT (Build Readiness Team) for prototype orders
o Manage prototype hardware procurements and ED&D reqs
o Lead for shipping & receiving parts/assemblies for builds to/from suppliers
o Ensure proper tracking/serialization of components from supplier, through inventory tracking system and BoM
o Ensure build-book, inspection & EOL test completion & documentation for assemblies
o Coordinate part usage with DRE and DVE to ensure part meets functional requirements and design maturity for a given test
o Drive designers & DREs on moving the changes through the system to meet the implementation timing milestones and participate in design reviews with the COEs (weekly meetings) to meet MRDs
o Maintain the program “Plan for every part”
o Follow up with purchasing on prototype part timing
• Work on special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a closely related engineering degree from an ABET accredited university

Preferred Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience with automotive product development or manufacturing
• Self-starter with strong leadership, communication skills, and demonstrated problem solving ability
• Experience with root cause analysis techniques
• Knowledgeable in regards to GD&T, 3D models and technical drawings
• High-level understanding of manufacturing and quality processes
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
