Service Manager

Service Manager position available in the St. Charles, MO area. Direct hire opportunity working at our client location who is a leader in the tooling industry.

The salary range for this position is $50k to $90k. M-F 8am-4:30pm, must be flexible with travel when needed.

The Service Management role includes supporting Tablet Presses, Tablet Press parts and other ancillary equipment that supports the solid dose product line. The Tablet Press Service Manager will supervise a department of Service Technicians that provide training, tablet press installations and after-sales support to the Pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cannabis, confectionary, and veterinary industries.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
-Develop training programs for new and current Service Technicians for continuous education .
-Establish and manage guidelines for exceptional service quality.
-Act as liaison between Service and Tablet Press Manufacturing and Assembly to ensure quality in Press Builds.
-Work with Service Coordinator to schedule technicians for travel while managing additional Technicians tasks.
-Conduct classes for customers on Tablet Press set-up, operation, and maintenance (on-site & off-site).
-Responsible for FAT’s and ensuring that on-site (and offsite events) are completed to customers satisfaction.
-Organize and maintain workspaces including cleanrooms for FAT’s and shop work area.

Qualifications

-Must be at least 18 years of age
-Above average organizational skills and attention to detail
-Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
-Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel)
-Willing to travel approximately 25% of the time to domestic and international locations
-Any experience with service tickets preferred
-5+ years of experience with Tablet Compression Machines
