Production Worker

Trillium Staffing has a CNC Material Handling position available in the Wixom, MI. area working at our client location who specializes in the manufacturing of hydraulic sealing solutions.

This position is responsible for assuring the company’s standards of safety, quality and productivity are met and sustained.  Completes the required procedures as stated in the company’s operating system .  To grow and embrace the company’s way of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. 2nd shift is available. Pay range is $18.00 to $20.00 an hour. This is a potential direct hire or possible contract to hire opportunity.

Shift time:
2nd Shift is from 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm

This Position is responsible for assuring that each machine is supplied prior to and during the production run with the required supplies. Support the daily cleanliness of each machine throughout the shift. 

Essential functions and responsibilities:
-Unloads and puts away steel from steel trucks.
-Cut steel blanks in order as set on the saw cutting schedule.
-Supply and remove product on floor as necessary to keep production flowing.
-Assures that the injection molding machines are supplied with the correct resin.
-Assists in change overs with quick response for resin and or the removal of finished product and supplies.
-Monitors partial rack and ensure that all partials are being used.
-Empties all steel hoppers into appropriate containers outside of building.( Making sure to use coolant recycling system).
-Empties garbage for CNC and as directed by supervisor.
-Monitors and changes over coolant, oil barrels etc. In the oil supply area.
-Performs daily PM’s.
-Completes steel inventory as required.
-Completes 5’s cleaning responsibilities along with keeping machines clean during the production run.

Secondary responsibilities:
-Performs daily clean up as scheduled.
-May assist or perform setups as scheduled by your supervisor.
