Equipment Operators / Laborers needed for full-time positions in the Des Moines, IA area!

Job Description

Trillium Construction is immediately hiring a full-time Equipment Operators / Laborers of all skill levels to work in team’s construction of commercial and industrial facilities.

Equipment Operator/Laborers will be tasked with operating a variety of equipment from forklifts to excavation equipment, trucks, sweepers and more. They will also be expected to assist in clean-up, material handling, safety and rough carpentry, deck and platform construction, traffic control and whatever may be needed at the site for logistic, safety and material handling needs.

Ideal candidates will have good construction knowledge, willing to work safely within a team, be reliable, have customer service skills, and are seeking a long-term position with an industry leading contractor.

Additional details will be provided during initial phone screening. Work schedule is Mon - Fri, with occasional weekends as needed.  Typical working hours are 7 AM - 3:30 PM, with possible overtime or longer worker days based on project needs.

Pay is $20 - $29 per hour, depending on experience.  Per diem is not offered at this time.  Medical insurances, 401k, paid time off, holiday pay, and additional employee benefits are available.

Qualifications

- 6+ months of equipment operation
- Basic hand tools preferred      
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Must be physically able to perform job duties to include lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass any pre-employment screenings
