Job Description
Trillium has immediate openings for Laser Optical Technicians in Tarrytown!
This Direct-Hire opportunity is looking for candidates with hands-on experience in an technician role with high precision instruments. Prior work history with medical devices and sold state lasers is a plus! If you enjoy managing multiple tasks/processes, troubleshooting/resolving complex issues, analyzing system performances, and working in a team environment, we want to hear from you today!
Responsibilities:
- Assemble & repair lasers
- Troubleshoot, analyze and repair high-voltage power supplies
- Test, assemble and repair various components, sub-assemblies, and other electronics
- Manually assemble sensitive optical lasers
- Customer technical support
- Product servicing, including maintenance and troubleshooting
Schedule is 1st Shift / Monday - Friday / 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Pay is $65,000-$70,000 annual salary. Bonus: averaging $10,000 per year. If interested, please apply today!
Qualifications
- 5 years minimum experience in a technician position involving sensitive high-precision instruments (Experience with solid-state lasers preferred, but not required)
- Manufacturing experience in a Quality Management System related to medical devices
- Comprehension of component/system design
- Skilled at testing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues
- Competent in working in a high-voltage environment
- Excellent hand and mechanical skills
