Shop Assistant needed in Appleton, WI, Direct Hire!

Job Description

Trillium Staffing is currently seeking a Shop Assistant to add to our client’s growing team on 1st shift! In this position, you will be responsible for receiving and unloading inbound product, prepping raw materials for upcoming production runs, assisting machine operators by pulling raw materials and other general shop duties as assigned. Shop Assistants will also be given the opportunity to cross train on machines as time allows.

This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a well established manufacturing shop in Appleton, WI. The standard 1st shift hours are Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Wages range based on experience level, $19-20/hr.

Qualifications

- 1-2+ years’ experience in an industrial/shop environment, preferred
- Experience working with basic hand and power tools
- Ability to multi-task and take on new duties
- Mechanically inclined
- Forklift experience required
- Experience using micrometers, calipers and other measuring equipment a plus
