Accounting & Administrative Assistant
Trillium Staffing is now hiring an Accounting & Administrative Assistant in Wauwatosa WI! ($18–$22/hr)
We are seeking an Accounting & Administrative Assistant to support both accounting operations and general office functions. This position is contract-to-hire and offers the opportunity to grow with a fast-paced, organized, and collaborative team.
This role handles bookkeeping tasks, AP/AR support, payroll assistance, documentation management, and coordination across departments. The team is currently transitioning from Sage to Unanet ERP, so flexibility, curiosity, and strong follow-through are essential.

Duties:
-Maintain daily bookkeeping tasks and ensure accurate financial records.
-Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll preparation.
-Track expenses, reconcile accounts, and update financial spreadsheets.
-Assist with project setup, billing documentation, and data entry.
-Provide administrative support to accounting, HR, and leadership teams.
-Manage document organization, reminders, filing, and general office needs.
-Follow up on open items and help ensure deadlines are met.
-Occasionally assist with packaging or inventory support as needed.
Qualifications:
-Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
-Excellent communication — comfortable asking questions and following up.
-Proactive, dependable, and self-directed.
-High attention to detail with accurate data-entry skills.
-Comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment.
-Proficient in Excel and Smartsheet.
-0–2 years of administrative or accounting experience preferred.
-Familiarity with Sage, QuickBooks, or Unanet is a plus
