Job Description

Trillium Staffing is now seeking Facilities Engineering Manager for direct-hire placement!

This is 1st Shift and the annual salary is $95K-$110K per year. The Facilities Engineering Manager is the top engineering role in the company. This individual will provide support to stabilize plant operations in preparation for future growth. This position will be charged with proving engineering support and building engineering capability at the plant level.

Specific Responsibilities include:
-Help drive improvements via operational efficiency and capital expenditures which result in improved factory capacity
-Owns the CAPEX execution plan, which means:  From the creation of a list of projects, evaluation of scope, proposal for approval and CAPEX request form.
-In cooperation with other leaders, develop and implement programs to drive SOP’s designed to support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing objectives by identifying process and physical asset improvements.
-Work cross functionally with other leaders to ensure that new product and innovation initiatives are implemented in a timely, cost effective manager
-Owns planning for each project execution:  from Scope clarification/design, team consultation, project establishment, project commitment and execution.
-Owns project Startup Management (commissioning, qualification, verification).  Aimed at doing vertical startups.
-Owns the relationship with key technical vendors.  Ie. Friggomecanica, Travaglini, Vemac, Velati, Multivac, Weber, Technosystem, Keyence, Vaccupack, Technoferrari, etc.
-Development of Team capabilities and work processes necessary to meet technical skill set and business goals
-Development of the new capabilities required for projects and new technologies regarding Technical Skill set expectations of any Artisan in the organization that requires to be updated.
-Leadership by example of the Operational Excellence Culture
-Owns the program for HVAC, Boilers and Power systems, as they are heavily depending on projects with external vendors. 
-Ensure a plan for inspection of the equipment above mentioned, to ensure smooth operations including, coolers, power transmission and generation, Boiler, and HVAC.
-Develop 3rd party service providers as needed
-Maintain accurate record of maintenance requirements and actions
-Manage internal preventative and predictive maintenance process for areas owned
-Collaborate with the Operations team to identify immediate needs and proactively resolve future demands.
-Work with various building leaders to prioritize and schedule the workload to satisfy the safety and production needs.
-Lead vendor and contractor relationships and monitor work conducted, serving as a project manager on improvements and repairs.
