EDI Analyst and Mapping Specialist
Trillium Professional is now seeking an EDI Analyst and Mapping Specialist for direct-hire in Richmond!
Annual salary is $90-105K.
Job Summary:
-Analysis of trading partner, vendor partner requirements, and mapping specifications and aligning them with business processes and procedures.
-Creating, maintaining, and testing mapping solutions to maintain a positive business relationship with trading partners.
Position Scope:
-Work collaboratively with trading partners to ensure the continuous and accurate exchange of electronic business documents.
-Analyze document processing issues and provide practical business or mapping solutions to trading partners, EDI Management, and IT team members.
-Participate in discussions around development to align technical implementations with business requirements and system capabilities.
Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with trading partners to understand EDI and API integration requirements, facilitating joint planning and implementation projects with all stakeholders.
-Analyze trading partner requirements to design and implement effective solutions using EDI mapping tools, API integrations, SAP software, and custom development as needed.
-Support the daily exchange of EDI and API transactions with trading partners, ensuring uninterrupted data flow and business continuity.
-Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to EDI and API integrations by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
-Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and procedures for EDI and API processing workflows, ensuring clarity and operational consistency.

Education:
-Major duties and responsibilities of the job can be satisfactorily performed with a 4-year BA or BS degree in Information Technology or related Business major.
Experience:
-3-4 years working with EDI mapping and communications
-3-4 years working with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
-1-2 years working with MuleSoft
-1-2 years working with APIs
-3-4 years of SAP iDoc experience
-3-4 years of XML Development experience
Minimum Qualifications:
-Understanding of EDI ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards
-Mapping experience in a manufacturing or retail environment
-Experience working with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
-EDI transaction experience with X12 850, 855, 856, and 810
-SAP IDoc experience: ORDERS, DELVRY, INVOIC
-Basic understanding of computer communications, including FTP, AS1, AS2, and network file sharing
-Understanding of SAP document flows and error handling processes
-Familiarity with APIs, JSON message structures, and integration tools such as MuleSoft
