Welder

Trillium Professional has a direct- hire opportunity in Harlan IA for a welder. 

Lays out, fits, and welds fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structural forms such as frames, stands, reels, shafts, and parts by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
-Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
-Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
-Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
-Sets up equipment and welds parts, using MIG/TIG/Torch welding equipment.
-Assembles parts by bolting and riveting.
-Uses acetylene/plasma arc equipment to cut metal parts to print specifications.
-Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
-Responsible for reading blueprints, carrying out welding requirements, and ensuring product quality. Required to perform duties following work order process sheets.
-Will be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
-Maintains and sustains 5S within the department.
-Responsible for checking the accuracy of engineering, sales, and manufacturing offices’ input to ensure customer final product is correct and within quality acceptance guidelines. Any changes or corrections must be communicated to appropriate departments so future product output is consistent with customer expectations.
-Understands, supports, implements, and sustains 5S program initiatives and goals. 
-Supports and upholds the quality and EHS policy.

Requirements:
-Have 2-5 years of experience with MIG & TIG welding in a fabrication environment
-Must have mild steel, aluminum and stainless steel MIG & TIG welding experience
-Be a problem solver
-Blueprint reading a must
-Quality focused
-Welding certification or technical degree a plus
