Senior Mechanical Project Manager

Trillium Construction is now hiring in Sioux Falls, SD!

Our client is a mechanical contractor based out of Sioux Falls, SD specializing in plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems. They are growing their team and looking to bring on a SR. Mechanical Project Manager on a full time basis.

This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary of up to $150k depending on experience plus a benefits package which includes M/V/D, PTO, 401k, PSL, and a vehicle allowance. This position will be based in the office working roughly 45 to 50 hour weeks with the majority of projects being locally based. 

Duties:
-Planning, execution, and successful completion of mechanical projects (plumbing and fire protection)
-Provide a mechanical expertise in mechanical engineering, project management, bid estimating, and scheduling.
-Acquire permits, manage budgets, personnel and contracts
-Ensure scope changes are processed and incorporated into the current scope of work in a timely manner
-Review report to determine project status and determine required actions
-Conduct pre-job and continuing planning meetings to ensure all project team members understand contract terms and conditions

Qualifications:
-10+ years experience in mechanical leadership
-Ability to interpret project documents, blueprints, and schematics
-Must have experience working with freeze protectant programs 
-Have a thorough understanding of local and state plumbing codes
-Software experience: BIM, Procore, MS Office Suites, Excel 
-Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills 
-Ability to run a crew of up to 20 
-Ability to manage projects between $10 and $20 million 
field experience a plus 
-Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or construction management a plus
