Audio Visual Lead Technician

Now hiring a few AV Lead Technicians to help on Commercial projects in Austin.  

Leads must have experience reading blueprints, gathering all the needed materials (wire, LCD’s, Projectors) and assigning tasks to the others.  The Leads will report directly to the Project Manager who will ensure all equipment/material/labor is assigned.  No commissioning (programming, software install) necessary, just leading the install of all of the hardware/equipment on site.  This individual will be able to lead a crew for the complete installation. Be able to determine what hardware will be needed and the manpower it will take to complete the job. Be able to terminate fiber optics; and have extensive knowledge using an OTDR and will be able to train the others with all terminations.       

Schedule: M-F first shift. Pay is up to $32/hr DOE.

Qualifications  
-5 year of verifiable electrical work experience  
-2 years as Lead/Supervisor  
-Blueprint Reading 
-Possess a basic understanding of electrical systems  
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings  
-ET Card
