Estimator

Trillium Construction is now hiring an Estimator for a Construction company in Glenwood MD area (possible ability to work remote). 

This candidate must have Pre Engineered Steel/Metal Building Experience. This is a full time/direct role with benefits and pay up to $100k+/ (DOE).

Responsibilities:
-Conduct detailed cost estimations for construction projects, including materials, labor, and other relevant expenses. 
-Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary information for accurate estimations. 
-Analyze project specifications and blueprints to understand project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities. 
-Develop comprehensive and competitive proposals tailored to the specific needs of each client. 
-Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and project information. 
-Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and pricing fluctuations to ensure competitiveness in proposals. 
-Assist in project budgeting and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle. 
-Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and negotiations as needed.

-5 to 10 years of experience with Pre-Engineered steel buildings. 
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. 
-Proven experience in construction estimation and proposal writing, preferably in the design-build industry.
