Field Technician

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Field Technician in Providence, RI for a full-time position to operate, monitor, and maintain gas migration control and recovery systems throughout the area!

Duties:
-Properly operate, monitor, and maintain gas collection system on a timely and cost-effective basis
-Field sampling of various test locations including wells, probes, headers, blowers, flares, pumps, etc.
-Operate, calibrate, and maintain various analytical and monitoring equipment
-Collect and evaluate/interpret scientific data; Communicate observations and technical data verbally and in writing with supervisor and clients
-Record and maintain daily field logs reporting data collected, field observations, actions taken, and recommended actions to be taken 

Compensation:
-$20/hr - $23/hr, depending on experience

Qualifications:
-Previous experience in a related field such as industrial, mechanical, construction, environmental, or solid waste strongly preferred 
-Understand and follow regulatory requirements related to the work
-Ability to use Microsoft Office and read maps and construction plans required
-Valid driver’s license with a driving record in good standing is required
-Must be able to meet physical demands of position – driving, walking, lifting, carrying equipment up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, operating equipment, using hand tools, and working outside.
