Mechanic

Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Mechanic in Gloucester City! Day or Night shift available!

The Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing equipment repairs, preventative maintenance work, and performing maintenance on company equipment. The Mechanic will be responsible for repairs of material handling equipment and company fleet vehicles at their Gloucester City location, but other locations are local so they may drive the company vehicle to other locations if workload requires it.  This position will involve both daily PM work, along with breakdowns that occur during the shift.  PM work includes but is not limited to replacing batteries, changing tires, oil changes, replacing parts, test driving equipment and troubleshooting engine or equipment failures.  The Mechanic will be working in a shop environment. 

This is a full-time, direct hire career opportunity with a wage range of $23-$28/hour based on experience!  

The standard schedule starts at 7:00 am for Day shift and 7:00 pm on Night shift with a rotating schedule as follows:

*Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are 8-hour shifts.  Tuesday and Thursday are 12-hour shifts.  One 12-hour weekend shift will also be included until the team is fully staffed. 

*Week 2: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are 12-hour shifts.  Tuesday and Thursday are 8-hour shifts.  One 12-hour weekend shift will also be included until the team is fully staffed.

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related automotive mechanic experience OR Tech -School Diploma.
- Valid TWIC Card will be required upon hire. Can apply post offer if needed. 
- Must have valid driver’s license with a good record. 
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- Experience ordering parts, preferred.
