Trillium Construction is now hiring in Fresno, CA!

Our client is a general contractor specializing in new builds, renovations, and infrastructure design-build and design-bid-build projects for federal government and DoD. They are now looking to bring on a Quality Control Manager / Site Safety for a renovation project in Fresno, California. This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary between $85k and $100k depending on experience and a benefits package that includes M/V/D, 401k, PTO, vehicle allowance, Paid holidays. 

Duties: 
-Work in conjunction with the Client, field staff and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and timeliness of project construction and completion. 
-Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with all applicable OSHA, Veterans Administration Safety Manual, U.S. Navy requirements and regulations, and the U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual EM 385-1-1. 
-Have the full responsibility for the execution of the Construction Quality Control Plan during the construction phase of the project. 
-Work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to develop a schedule for submittals, and to review all submittals for accuracy and completeness, prior to forwarding them to the Design Team and Government for final approval. 
-Maintain a safe construction site through direction and training of workers, providing PPE and safety equipment and written documentation to maintain accountability of sub-contractor work force. 
-Work as a member of the Project Team, including subcontractors, to ensure implementation and continuous monitoring of the provisions of the Project Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs)

Qualifications: 
-5+ years’ combined experience as a Superintendent, QCM, Project Manager, Project Engineer and/or Construction Manager on Federal Projects.
-Experience with Veterans Administration projects is a plus. 
-5+ years’ experience as a Construction/Quality Control Manager on Government projects 
-OSHA 30 Hour and/or EM385-1-1 SSHO 40-Hour Construction Hazard Awareness is a plus.
-Prior experience in Quality Control with the following scope preferred: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, and Architectural.
-Prior experience working as the CQC Manager on Federal projects, or prior work for the Federal Government in their Quality Control program is required.
-Willingness to commute to project sites within California.
