Electrical Technician

Trillium Construction is now seeking a Data Technician / Electrical Technician for direct-hire!

Our client is a well- established self-performing GC specializing in commercial and federal construction for both public and private clients- primary focus in the Department of Defense (DoD) market is now hiring a Data Technician for work on the Air Force Base at Camp LeJeune.

Pay is $33.65/hr plus OT (prevailing wage) plus Per Diem: $595.87/weekly (partially taxed) OR relocation assistance provided. Schedule is M-F, 50-60hrs a week. Benefits include M/V/D (No PTO or 401K). 20-25% travel.

This will be for commercial and industrial projects on the base.  Electrical installs (communications, CATV, Security and Fire Alarm, generators) on hotels, hospitals and other commercial and industrial buildings.

Duties:
-Responsible for the planning, installation coordination and documentation/reporting of the voice/data/telecommunications network and associated components. 
-Includes daily supervision, direction, and coordination of assigned construction crews to safely produce quality work, within project requirements, targeted budget and schedule

Qualifications:
-MUST be BICSI certified. 
-3+ yrs experience in the electrical/communications on medium or large projects is required 
-Government or military projects experience is desirable, but not required 
-Foreman experience in multiple trades (e.g. concrete, framing/drywall, earthwork and MEP trades) is a plus 
-Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) preferred. Training can be provided. 
-Specific software literacy (Primavera 3/6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit) preferred. Training can be provided. 
-CPR, First Aid Certification required; OSHA 30-hour Certification and EM-385 preferred; Training can be provided 
-Valid Passport for 20-25% travel
