Business Development Manager

Trillium Construction is now hiring for a Business Development Manager!

Our client is the number one security systems integrator in the nation. They are now looking to bring on a Business Development Manager focused on fire and life safety in the southeastern region of the US. This is a direct hire opportunity with a base salary of up to $150k DOE. A wonderful benefits package is also included with M/V/D, 401k, PTO, Holiday Pay, and more. 

Duties:
· Actively identify potential markets (East Coast) and customer (contractor for fire and life safety)
· Work with decision makers to assess need, gain agreement on a business case
· Lead sales pursuit team to construct winning proposals and present those proposals to decision makers while managing objections related to timing, price, and competition
· Proactively initiate contact with potential partners, influencers, and customers to establish and cultivate meaningful business relationships.

Qualifications:
· Previous experience (5+ years) with contractor fire sales (ECs and GCs) and doing your own design and estimating and supporting account executives in fire and life safety cycles
· NICET Level 3 or higher
· Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements for fire and life safety.
· Proficient skills in Microsoft office
· Strong financial and analytical skills
