Traveling Superintendent

Trillium Construction is now seeking a Traveling Superintendent for long-term work!

Our client specializes in the engineering/design/install of mechanical systems (material handling & conveyor systems) in the manufacturing industry with emphasis in the Tire, Rubber and Tier 1 Automotive industries.

They are now hiring a Traveling Construction Superintendent or Project Manager for work in south and southwest US. This will be a contract-to-hire opportunity,

Schedule is M-F, occasional Saturdays, 50 hrs a week. $150/daily per diem (7-days) plus $125/weekly vehicle allowance. Hourly pay from: $40-$45/hr plus OT.

Will be overseeing the electrical and mechanical install of material handling and conveyor systems to new plant construction and/or additions to existing plants.

Duties:
•Coordinate and direct subcontractors
•Develop schedules.
•Coordinate all deliveries, materials and equipment.
•Oversee all qualify of work.
•Interact with Plant Management at a corporate level

Qualifications:
•2-10+ yrs of manufacturing site-management experience
•Experience with automation systems and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)
•Knowledge of design, manufacturing and electrical & mechanical installations
•AutoCAD Inventor, Autodesk 2D, SolidWorks and/or Smart Sheet experience very beneficial- open to similar CAD.
