Job Description

Trillium Staffing is now seeking a CNC Programmer available in the Hillsboro, Oregon area working for our client who is a global leader of innovative orthopedic and medical solutions developed to improve patient care and has over three decades of experience in the orthopedic industry.

This is a Direct hire opportunity. They are not considering mill programming at this time.  Targeted pay rate is $32.00 to $37.00 an hour, depending on relatable experience.  Day shift position is Mon - Thurs, 4:30am - 3:00pm.

The CNC Programmer creates CNC code to produce medical devices on CNC equipment utilizing CAM software or manual programming methods during Process Development or Process Improvement for use in a Production environment.

-Create production programs using CAM software.
-Create Production documentation as required.
-Participate on NPI Product Development teams when required.
-Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and Quality Engineers to ensure that tolerancing and Inspection methods align and are achievable.
-Participate in all Validation activities as required.
-Train and assist production personnel for process “hand off” at the time of final process qualification.
-Assist, participate with training CNC Process Development Techs when needed.
-Production support for machining operations.
-Work with Manufacturing to continually improve sustaining processes.

-Swiss machine programming experience.
-Minimum of 5 years CNC related experience in Medical Device manufacturing.
-Minimum of 2 years CAM experience working with Swiss machines required. Citizen programming highly preferred.
-Must have programmed additional axis’ such as rotary or swing/tilting in addition to X, Y and Z axis’ or have programmed using Macro Variables.
-Knowledge of advanced Inspection techniques or systems.
-Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other departments outside of normal daily activities.
-Proven ability to work within timelines and deadlines.
