Job Description

Trillium Technical is now seeking an IT Support Specialist for work in Boston, MA!

Looking for a professional Technical Support candidate who is mature, reliable, detail oriented with 2+ years’ experience working in a professional environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the Zendesk Help Desk ticketing system
• Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and multiple software tools
• Manage inventory, create images, scripts and deployment packages using Quest/KBOX system
• Identify and evaluate productivity gains to be made with automation and customization
• Manage users and security groups in Active Directory
• Manage all security, antivirus, patches, updates and monitoring tools
• Update and create documentation and instructions in the ticketing system and in the intranet
• Participate in new employee orientation
• Plan group and one on one training sessions

• 2-4 years of experience with Enterprise level systems and Helpdesk operations
Technical skills and experience in automating, scripting, batching and building images and deployment
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
• Critical thinking and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast pace environment
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Enthusiastic and quick to learn
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work and conduct independent research
• Bachelor’s Degree required
