Shop Foreman

Now hiring a Shop Foreman in St. Paul!Trillium Construction is now seeking a Shop Foreman for direct-hire!

Pay is $30-40/hr plus overtime plus a full benefit package. Our client is a well established company that specializes in small and medium tanks to large complex structures throughout the U.S.  Projects include Carbon and stainless-steel API/AWWA storage tanks, Elevated silos and bins, floating roof tanks, double wall tanks and large shop-built tanks

Job Duties:
• Safe operations and mindset among workforce
• Schedule work flow in shop, manage flow and prioritization with ownership and confidence
• Extremely strong communication with estimators and engineers to establish schedules and delivery dates
• Review production demands and schedule on a daily basis with shop foreman to ensure raw material needs are me
• Lead weekly production meeting(s) to keep stakeholders informed of latest developments
• Track project scope, change orders, and rework
• Participate in Safety and Quality teams
• Participate in Human Resource leadership including hiring, promoting, disciplining, career path development, and recurring performance evaluations of direct reports
• Assist in preparing Capital Expenditure budget
• Ensure quality control protocols are followed

• 5-10 years applicable hands-on fabrication and welding experience
• Significant experience reading/interpreting blueprints and generating shop routingsStrong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer aptitude and experience with Microsoft Office suite
• Demonstrated organization and effective process management
