Job Description

Our client is a well-established national company specializing in the architectural design and construction of steel framing and erection for the hotel, office building, commercial building, food and beverage and warehouse industries.

They are now hiring a Construction Project Manger for the Fort Wayne, IN area. This will be a direct hire opportunity with full benefits, 3-weeks PTO, holiday pay, clothing allowance and company vehicle. Candidates will be working roughly 7am-5pm M-F.

Duties:
•Responsible for complete understanding of blueprints, specs and bids
•Ensure piece count of steel and production of siding, roofing and trims is being met and finding ways to improve to be more efficient
•Financial/ cost management
•Create schedules and project development phases
•Conducts pre-construction meeting before each job
•Maintains a production log for each ongoing project

Qualifications

•5+ years of commercial Project Management experience
•Must have warehouse and/or office building steel framing experience, preferably multi-story
•Knowledge of commercial/ industrial construction methods, techniques and systems; and Steel erection
•Proficient with Microsoft office and project management software
