We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager for work in the Waukesha and Milwaukee area!

Job Description

Trillium Construction is looking for an Assistant Construction Project Manager to assist in the day-to-day management.

This position requires, assisting the Project Manager in scheduling, deliveries, tracking project progress, communicating with contractors, and meetings.  The right candidate will be someone who is detail-oriented, self-sufficient, dependable, eager to learn and has a great attitude. Experience with construction is necessary, however we will provide guidance as you gain skills over time.

Duties and responsibilities:
-Assist Project Manager in all daily functions.
-Ability to track job progress, and associated reporting.
-Safety training and supervision
-Ability to provide guidance and direction from the Project Manager to the contractors by providing frequent communication.
-Ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, inspectors and others
-Ability to follow project schedules, ensuring work is progressing as planned.
-Participate in meeting and take down minutes
-Assist with scheduling and overseeing warranty and service work.
-Maintain daily paperwork such as field reports, schedule updates, progress photos and E-mail correspondence.
- assisting in laborer tasks if needed.

This is a first shift Monday-Friday job working 40 hours/week over time may be offered. Saturday and Sundays This is Temp-to-hire. The salary is $40,000-$60,000 per year, DOE. No per diem is available. Candidates will be on call 1 week per month. We offer health insurance, 401k, paid holidays and vacation.

Qualifications

-Minimum one (1) year construction/school experience,
-Experience as an Assistant Construction Project Manager preferred.
-Familiarity with reading and understanding blueprints.
-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
-Familiarity with online project management tools (e.g. Prolog, BuilderTrend, Basecamp) a plus (not required)
-High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
