Sales Assistant position available in Webberville, Michigan!
Trillium has a direct hire Sales Assistant opportunity working for our client in the Webberville, MI area who manufactures a range of products for the automotive industry covering a wide range of segments from bumpers to instrument panels. From door panels to spoilers, various assemblies can be welded, punched or machined using their products. They provide to solutions to the automotive, medical, and consumer goods industries.
This is an 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm. position and will be required to work the necessary hours to get the work done. There is some flexibility. The main role will include providing administrative support to the sales and service team. Salary range is $50,000 to $65,000 yearly.
Must have experience assisting the sales team, reviewing purchase orders, generating reports and presentations for sales.
Maintain all internal order logs
Create sales documents including invoices, credit memos, proposals, etc.
UCC filings and all relevant Sales record keeping, AR follow up with customers
Generate reports and prepare presentations for the sales team
Process time-sheets for proper allocation of service jobs
Point of contact for customers and outside sales representatives for product and account information.
Assist the sales department in developing and implementing sales strategies and objectives to meet sales goals and customer needs.
Organize meetings and events for the sales team
Make travel arrangements for sales and service team
Provide support for on-site visits from customers as requested
Maintain and update sales and customer records
Provide support in the organization of trade shows
Other duties as assigned by Sales Management
Assist in marketing related efforts
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

- Associate mandatory, Bachelor degree preferred
- Must have the ability to gather, analyze, and process information
- High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint. SAP would be preferred.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly organized and able to multi-task
- Previous experience in sales administration preferred
