This event was created to offer young professionals in the Automotive industry an opportunity to network with prominent leaders in the industry. Registrants are welcomed with a FCA Keynote Speaker; this year was Steven Jakubiec, the FCA Advance Development Responsible, followed with a panel discussion including Noah Goodall, PhD, PE, with the Research Scientist of Safety, Operations and Traffic Engineering for the Virginia Center for Transportation, Dan Patient, Manager at Autoliv Electronics America (AEA) and Jeremy Tuggle, Engineering Manager with Continental Automotive Systems.

The event even offered registrants an unprecedented opportunity to experience some new innovations first hand. Conference attendees were offered Ride & Drive Events including Autocross, a SRT Thrill Ride, Jeep Off-Road Experience and the FCA Product Test Drive. Shanel Cholagh was fortunate enough to be the only Recruiter on the committee of over 300 members.

“I originally joined the SAE Committee in an effort learn more about the automotive industry and to have an opportunity to work with Engineers one on one,” stated Shanel. “I was absolutely blown away by the passions of the members. They were extremely appreciative regarding my assistance throughout the event and really welcomed me with open arms. This is an excellent way for individuals interested in the Automotive Industry to get an insider’s look!”
