Job Description
Structural Welders and Shipfitters needed in Tampa, FL for the next 6 months to a year. We have a project needing commercial shipyard experienced shipfitters and structural welders for New Build and Repair work on Maritime vessels. Candidates must be able to start work immediately!
1st Class Structural Welders pay rate for local people within 55 miles 17 an hour or if you are traveling pay rates are 10 an hour 96 per diem a day
1st class Shipfitters pay rate for local people within 55 miles 17 an hour or if traveling 10 an hour and 96 per diem a day.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must possess:
-OSHA 10 a plus but willing to certify those who qualify. 6GR Welders needed must pass carbon and stainless pipe weld test 1/8th gap carbon and 3/32 Gap - Stainless
-All first class Structural Welders must pass ABS Structural Weld Test. Second class will be considered and pay rates will be determined accordingly.
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
-Reliable transportation a must and all must be able to work 7 days a week!!
