CES, Inc. has an indefinite opportunity available with a major automotive supplier for a Body Component Engineer.
Job Description
Body Component Engineer BSME / BSEE or equivalent. 3-5 years Body product design experience and high level PC skills required. Responsible for BIW underbody components and releasing on the Large Vehicle platform (300 Charger). Unigraphics NX/TeamCenter skills required. Included are part release & design responsibilities. System design knowledge: roll forming, sheet metal formability, FTI, structures, DFMEA, DVP&R, Knowledge of High Strength Steel design, specification and processing beneficial. Government regulations for High and low speed impact. Part releasing and launch experience.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: BSME / BSEE
Minimum Experience: 2 years, preferably in BIW
Required skills: BIW Releasing, NX, Teamcenter, EBOM, Change Management
Optional skills: CATIA, VPM, BIW stamping/assembly
