Job Description

Direct Hire Process Engineering Opportunity at a growing International company! We are looking for a Process Engineer to utilize experiences and talents to plan, design and implement manufacturing processes, including resource planning, project timelines and establishing priorities, to ensure customer requirements and quoted standards are met.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
•Create, update and maintains the item masters, BOM’s and routers, etc. •Reviews RFQs and helps determine feasibility of project, estimates labor and related costs and prepares formal quotes for submission. •Teams with customer to review designs for manufacturability. •Develops manufacturing methods. •Performs initial sourcing and qualifies suppliers from a technical perspective and effectively communicates customer’s requirements. •Fixture Design and Fixture Design Assistance •Create in-process drawings for manufacturing and quality •Create Statements of Work (SOW’s) for outside finishing processes •Assist in creating and review in-process/control plans •Develops and implement gage designs •Participates in root cause analysis of customer/supplier rejections and internal failures. •Determines impact of ECNs and coordinates any changes. •Provides direction and training to other engineers and production associates. •Lean manufacturing principles. •Work on continuous improvement projects to decrease machine down-time and increase efficiencies

Qualifications

•BS Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Or Chemical Engineering
 •5 + years of overall hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment
•3 years of experience in a Process Engineering or Continuous Improvement role
•Green Belt Certification in Six Sigma
