Job Description
Trillium Driver Solutions is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for an excellent direct hire opportunity with great benefits!
Primary responsibilities included:
- Hauling various product within a local radius in the capacity of roll-off container, dump trailer, and delivering in bound materials to the designated unload area or facility
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspection on assigned equipment
- Operating equipment in a safe manner
- Must be available to work assigned shift on a consistent and ongoing basis
- Average shift is 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday (very rarely Saturdays)
Work will be consistent all year around and quality benefit package is provided
Qualifications
Qualifications: - Heavy equipment moving experience is a plus - Ability to come on to the company long term - Ability to work 40-45 hours per week and 50-60 during busy season - Pay will be by the hour and overtime is available - Will average 7-8 loads per day - Must meet Trillium requirements below DRIVER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 1. Minimum age of twenty-three (23) 2. Minimum of two (2) years of experience driving commercial motor vehicles of the type expected to be utilized. 3. Possession of valid Commercial Driver’s license issued by the resident state of the driver with any endorsements further required by TDS. 4. No record of a driver’s license suspension or revocation for any reason during the thirty-six month’s prior to the date of the Motor Vehicle Report. 5. No record of citation or convictions for the violations listed below during the thirty-six (36) month’s (unless otherwise noted) prior to the date of the MVR. a. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (7 years) b. Refusal to take a test provided for by an implied consent or similar law. (7 years) c. Violation of an “open container” or similar statue. d. Reckless homicide or involuntary manslaughter. e. Operating while under suspension or revocation. f. Leaving the scene of an accident or “hit and run”. g. Speed exhibition, contest or drag race. h. Use of a motor vehicle in the commission of a felony. i. Assault with a motor vehicle. j. Operating a motor vehicle without the permission of the owner. k. Fleeing or eluding a police officer. 6. No record of citation or conviction for more than 3 motor vehicle violations excluding those listed above (any one of which is sufficient to cause disqualification), during the thirty-six (36) months prior to the date of the MVR. 7. No record of involvement in more than two (2) preventable accidents while operating a motor vehicle during the thirty-six (36) months prior to the date of the MVR. 8. No record of involvement in two (2) or more preventable accidents and two (2) or more moving violations during the thirty-six (36) months prior to the date of the MVR. 9. No record of involvement in one (1) or more preventable accidents and three (3) or more moving violations during the thirty-six (36) months prior to the date of the MVR.
