Buchanan, Michigan client seeking Maintenance Technician with Journeyman’s card!
Job Description
This position requires the individual to be self-motivated, active, and attentive to details. The qualified individual would also need to be computer literate; automation experience would be a plus. Training: • 3 1/2 years minimum experience based on 40 hours per week in maintenance position • Punctuality and reliability a must • Ability to work as a team or independently Job Duties including but not limited to: Check Oil Safety of Machines Boiler Blow down Tank line inspection-crane and chain strength and ability-record findings Change filter as needed on boiler Repair – check safety of forklifts Check drains on roof Maintain records both by hand and electronically Maintain grounds and building of the entire facility Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 75-100 lbs No fear of heights Need to be able to climb Use Scissor lift and fork lift as needed
Qualifications
Extremely experienced with hydraulic and pneumatic valves a must • Ability to work with 12 volt-480 3-phase electrical • Fork Lift driving • Ability to use air, hand, and power tools • Read blue prints-machine related Additional Requirements: • Journeyman license/certification • PLC Allan Bradley or Siemens • RS Logic
