We have an immediate opening for Class A CDL Drivers in the Baraboo area!

Job Description

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a stable work environment. Candidates must be able to work independently. Driver delivers furniture to retail stores in Madison, Janesville, and Rockford, IL.  Assist - Unload and load using pallet jack and hand cart.  Hand unload mattresses to retail stores – must be able to lift 100 lbs.  No home delivery! Approximately 45-60 hours per week with OT after 40 hrs. Could involve some nights and weekends.

The ideal driver should have 2 years of CDL A experience and have a flexible availability. Background/experience with furniture/appliance delivery a plus. Company is the leading mattress manufacturer and they have an immediate opening for a professional, safe, customer service oriented driver.

-The position pays $15.00 per hour to start
-Increases based on performance
-The position pays overtime after 40 hours
-Drivers make multiple stops
-Hand unload/heavy lifting required
-Must be flexible with availability
-Excellent late model, leased equipment
-Paid Weekly

Qualifications

Qualifications:
-CDL Class A Drivers license
-At least 2 years of recent CDL A driving experience
-No Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) violations in past seven years.
-No license suspensions last 5 years (unless for other than moving violation).
-No more than 3 moving violations in the past three years.
-No more than 2 minor preventable accidents (less than $5000 damage) within the last 3 years.
-No major preventable accidents within the last year.  A major preventable is defined as an accident of more than $5000 in damage OR an accident as a result of a U-turn, lane change, rear end collision or any accident that resulted in a rollover.
-No excessive speeding or reckless driving (more than 15 over limit) in past three years.
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
