Application Support SeniorAssist in determining longterm requirements of application operations and administration. Responsible for installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of application environment. Assist in application enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. Determine user needs and incorporate them into the design and overall plan for application support. Organizes and coordinates the activities associated with installation, deployment, and upgrade of software, hardware, and network facilities relating to application environment. Responsible for acting on existing trouble tickets established in the tracking system. Receive complex tickets that Help Desk Support and Technical Support Analyst cannot resolve remotely. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure timely resolution. Responsible for customer service and enduser training. Demonstrate expertise in a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. May guide various groups on application systems activities. Work under general directions; typically reports to a team lead or supervisor/manager. Requires a bachelors degree in a related area and eight plus years of experience in the field or in a related area. * Understanding of the Chrysler Common Quality Reporting Software use and programming.* Familiar with CPA audit process and data collection systems.
* Demonstrate excellent ability to support various application operations and administration activities, including, assisting in enhancements, design, and the overall plan for application support* Demonstrate experience in providing guidance and advice to various groups on application support activities* Demonstrate excellent ability to communicate to all level of management in written and verbal form* Ability to act as a liaison between end users, MQ corporate management.* Ability to coordinate activities across numerous and disparate business activities* Ability to gather consensus from assembly plants* Ability to prioritize numerous software change requests * Ability to author requirements for software change requests* Automotive / Automotive Manufacturing Experience* Vehicle / Product Quality Experience. * Experience working with an offshore IT Service Delivery Model. * Experience working in a multi-national (Mexico/Latin America, Europe, Asia) environment. * Willingness to travel (to assembly plants)* Experience with conducting user training * Experience with authoring and revising user training documentation * Extensive system, integration, implementation software testing experience* Participate in production system software/hardware upgrade testing verification.* Willingness to support the system/process on evenings/weekends. * Incident Management—trouble tickets * System Security: Grant and revoke user system access / privileges as required. * Experience with SPC reporting. * Experience with creating ETL Rules. As program launches, would some travel overseas to providing trainingsat Fiat locations and various overseas partners.
