Job Description
Our client is seeking a dynamic Quality Manager for direct-hire to implement and maintain a quality process for local facility as well as overseas. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 Quality Management experience, ISO implementation experience, be well-versed in QS 9000 and be able to create strong relationships with personnel in multiple locations.
Overseas travel to China is an expectation so experience working with the Chinese culture is important. You may expect three trips of approximately 2 weeks duration each to China the first year of employment. Later expectations may be a few times per year for 10 or more days. There could also be travel to Europe as that market opens up in our client’s product lines, as well as occasional trips to California. Strong communication skills a must! SAP experience a plus! Someone with a strong background in consumers electronics or smart phones accessories may be a great fit if other criteria is met! Qualifications
2-5 years of Quality Management experience required
Global travel experience to China a must!
ISO implementation
QS 9000
SAP
Consumer electronics experience or SMART phone technologies and/or accessories knowledge a plus!
