Our client is a world-class specialty metals slitter and distributor for industries such as stamping, roll forming, and tube producers. They are seeking an experienced Buyer to join their team!
Job Description
The position will include the following responsibilities:
* sending out quotes
* buying/tracking of various materials in coil/ strip form
* updating monthly reports and attendance in meetings
* incoming freight
* inventory, maintenance and development of supply base
* quality issues with supply
Metal Service Center or Stamping experience preferred.
Must have knowledge of metals and industry.
Qualifications
Must have metals and/or stamping industry experience. A minimum of 5-7 years experience working in purchasing or as a buyer is necessary to be considered for this opportunity.
